1. Who We Are

Bright Impact is a free-to-play social entertainment studio operated and managed by Bright Impact LTD. Our registered office is at 1-6 Yarmouth Place, London, W1J 7BU. You can reach us at support@brighttimpact.com. We are the data controller for the personal information we collect through this website.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to keep the site running and to respond to your enquiries:

  • Usage data — pages visited, browser type, device type, and approximate region. This is collected anonymously via Cloudflare Web Analytics (no IP logging, no fingerprinting).
  • Contact data — if you write to us, we store your name and email address solely to reply to you.
  • Preference data — whether you have accepted cookies and whether you have confirmed your age (stored in your browser's local storage, never sent to our servers).

We do not collect payment information, national ID numbers, or any special category data. Because Bright Impact is entirely free to play, we have no financial transaction records for players.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use a small number of cookies and local-storage entries to keep the site functional and to measure traffic anonymously. For a full breakdown of every cookie category, the third parties involved, and how to manage your preferences, please read our Cookie Policy.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we hold to:

  • Keep the site secure and operational (strictly necessary use — no consent required).
  • Understand how visitors use the Lumière Quarter so we can improve the experience (analytics — consent-based).
  • Reply to support enquiries you send us (contract / legitimate interest).
  • Meet legal obligations, including retaining records as required by applicable law.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

5. Lawful Basis (EU GDPR / French Law)

We are subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD, règlement (UE) 2016/679), the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés) as supervised by the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés), and the French ePrivacy rules under the LCEN. Our lawful bases are: legitimate interest for strictly necessary processing; consent for analytics and advertising cookies (freely given, withdrawable at any time via our cookie banner); and contractual necessity for handling support requests.

6. Data Retention

Contact enquiry records are kept for 12 months after the matter is resolved, then deleted. Anonymous analytics aggregates do not identify individuals and are retained indefinitely. Cookie-consent records are held for 13 months then reset.

7. Your Rights

Under the GDPR and French law you have the right to access, correct, port, or delete your personal data; to object to processing; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, email support@brighttimpact.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL at www.cnil.fr.

8. Data Transfers

Our site is served via Cloudflare's global network. Data may transit Cloudflare servers outside France; Cloudflare participates in EU–US Data Privacy Framework and provides standard contractual clauses. We do not transfer personal data to any other third country.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
